Journal of Soil Future Research
The Journal of Soil Future Research (JSFR) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that welcomes manuscripts aligned with our author guidelines and focused on innovative and sustainable soil science. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to evaluate scientific merit, formatting, and relevance to the journal’s scope, with an emphasis on advancing soil-related research for future sustainability. Suitable manuscripts are then subjected to a blinded peer-review process conducted by subject-matter experts.
Strict confidentiality is maintained throughout the review process to ensure anonymity of both authors and reviewers. Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest at both the initial submission and final acceptance stages. Any factors that might influence the integrity of the manuscript—such as financial interests, affiliations with companies, or consulting relationships—must be clearly declared. Where applicable, these disclosures will be published with the final article. Authors must also provide documentation of ethical approvals or institutional review board (IRB) clearances for studies involving human participants, animals, or environmental assessments upon editorial request.
Upon acceptance, authors will be asked to sign a copyright agreement granting the Journal of Soil Future Research the first publication rights, while retaining copyright of their work. This allows the journal to disseminate articles through global academic databases and repositories while ensuring that authors receive proper acknowledgment for their contributions.
The journal follows a continuous publication model, meaning articles are published online immediately upon acceptance. All articles published within a calendar year are subsequently submitted for indexing in relevant databases, including International Scientific Indexing (ISI) and other specialized repositories related to soil science, agronomy, and sustainability.
As an open access journal, all JSFR articles are freely accessible to the global research community. Authors and readers are not required to obtain special permission for distribution or use of published material, promoting the broad dissemination of knowledge.
By upholding these editorial and ethical standards, the Journal of Soil Future Research aims to foster credible, impactful, and future-oriented research in soil science, supporting global efforts toward environmental sustainability and agricultural resilience.
