Statement of Informed Consent

Statement of Informed Consent

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Soil Future Research are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in relation to research practices involving soil science and related disciplines. By submitting their work, authors affirm that their research has been conducted with integrity and in accordance with all relevant ethical considerations.

Informed consent must be obtained based on a clear and comprehensive explanation of the study’s objectives, methodology, potential risks, benefits, and the voluntary nature of participation. All participants must be made fully aware of their right to withdraw from the research at any time without facing any negative consequences.

It is the authors' responsibility to ensure that ethical considerations are addressed at every stage of the research process—from planning and execution to analysis and dissemination. When dealing with sensitive data, proper care must be taken to protect the privacy, anonymity, and confidentiality of individuals or communities involved.

In cases where institutional ethical review board approval (e.g., for studies involving human subjects, animal use, or environmental interventions) is not mandated, authors must provide a clear and justified explanation for the exemption. Regardless, they are still required to adhere to all other applicable ethical norms.

The Journal of Soil Future Research reserves the right to request supporting documentation to verify compliance with ethical research practices during the manuscript evaluation process. Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in rejection of the submission.

By following these principles, authors help maintain the ethical and scientific integrity of the Journal of Soil Future Research, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of responsible and sustainable soil-related research.
